We’ve recently been recognised as a member of Mindful Employer, which aims to increase awareness of mental health in the workplace and provides relevant support for businesses. As a member, Apax has access to relevant information and resources, links to further support from national agencies, training in mental health awareness, examples of good practice and practical, hands-on support. We are provided with an auditing service to ensure consistently high standards of dealing with mental health in our employment system. As a Mindful Employer, we are therefore pleased of our employment record in complying with legislation, increasing the quality of life for our employees and improving customer service.
Another partner we work with is Homeless Link, which works in prevention, support and accommodation to end homelessness in the UK. It is the national membership charity for organisations working directly with homeless people in England and works to make services for homeless people better and campaign for policy changes that will help end homelessness. As a member, Apax has access to a range of services designed to help us improve the quality of our services for our tenants. These services include advice, support, information and training and influence in local and national government policies. Many of our tenants have previously been homeless and we’re passionate about providing a nurturing environment where our residents can participate in community activities, fulfill all their practical needs and improve their quality of life. We will continue to work with new organisations to help us improve our standards and services and lead the way in providing excellent supported accommodation.
